11-year old Mansha Sharma made Dehradun proud by making it to the finale of reality TV show “Kisme Kitna Hai Dum” Season 7.
Kisme Kitna Hai Dum is a reality TV platform for showcasing hidden talent. It first aired on television back in 2001 and has held seven seasons since then.
She has been trained in Kathak since the age of two by her mother Priya Sharma.
Mansha’s ever-growing enthusiasm in the field of dance led her to explore another dance form, Bharatanatyam, under the guidance of Rajlakshmi Kunhambu, a Doon based renowned Bharatanatyam expert. She has been training her for the past 8 years.
On the basis of sheer hard work and dedication, this little girl from St. Joseph Academy Dehradun has made it to national headlines. She will be performing in Chandigarh for the Grand Finale very soon.
Mansha believes that lockdown has been a blessing in disguise for her. She highlights:
“I got ample amount of time to hone my skills and grabbed every single opportunity that came my way. KKHD is a great platform and I’m fortunate enough to be one of their finalists. If I win this reality show, I’ll make my DehraDun city proud. To make this dream come true, I am practising for endless hours improving my facial expressions and body movements”
Mansha credits her success to her mother Priya Sharma, who is also her first Guru, who identified her talent and nurtured it.
Everyone has talent. But few have the courage to follow it. Appreciating such talent is the best pay-off for their hard work. We request our readers to show full support to our rising star.
DehradunTales congratulates Mansha and wishes her good luck for the finals.
